Cube and cube root are the very important in any competitive exams. Cube root shortcut tricks without remembering this you can't survive in the exam hall. As all competitive exams are very tightly bound with time, so you don't have much time to spend on calculating cubes.By knowing the shortcut to find the cube root of a number, you will be able to find out the cube root of any number within seconds.
Cube root: The cube root of a number is a special value that, when used in a multiplication three times, gives the number.
Pre Knowledge: (1) Remember the cube root at least up to 9.
(2) Unit place digit: To get the unit's place digit of the cube root remember the following.

Example 1:
∛1728 = ?
Sol. :
Step 1: Divide the number in 2 parts, starting from right side of the giving number, make group 3 digits and remaining digits.
Step 2: To get the ten's place digit, we find the nearest and smaller or equal cube of the first part number (first part number is 1).
Therefore ten's place digit = 1
Step 3: To get the unit's place digit , {from the table given above}, since the unit digit of the number is 8 so, unit place digit of cube root will be 2.
So, the cube root of the given number to be.
∛1728 = 12
Answer is : 12

∛175616 = ?
Sol. :
Step 1: Divide into two parts.
175 616
Step 2: Find ten's place digit.
Step 3: Find the unit's place digit.[From the table]
∛175616 = 56
Answer is : 56
